Brewery Dog Manners

Lets teach your dog to be the best brewery companion! 🍻

Have you ever wanted to bring your dog with you to your favorite brewery but you think they’d be a menace?

All classes are taught IN a brewery and focuses on the essential manners needed to be a great brewery dog. Skills taught in this class include settling under a table, walking politely, NOT stealing your beer or snacks, and more!

  • Next Start Date: TBD

    • $125 +tax

    • 4 Lessons, 45 minutes each

    • This class is 4 consecutive weeks with a set start and end date.

    • Up to 4 dogs per class - get more 1×1 attention!

  • This is an Intermediate Class and requires:

    • Basic Manners class graduation or equivalent private lessons through us or another trainer.

    • Your dog is 6 months or older.

    • Your dog is up-to-date on vaccinations.

    • You and your dog are familiar with the concepts of clicker/marker training & reward-based training.

    Skills:

    • Your dog can target a mat and can also lay down on cue or with luring help.

    Focus:

    • Your dog can focus on you around some distractions. We understand this probably isn’t perfect yet, but if you are joining an Intermediate Level class you and your dog should have some experience with this already from your work in a Beginner class or equivalent private lessons.

    • How to set your dog up for success at a brewery

    • Settle on a Mat

    • Calm Greeting with Friendly Strangers

    • Polite Ordering

    • Leash Walking

    • Leave it

    • Recover from a Startle

    • All while being at the brewery around distractions!

    We hold Brewery Manners classes at local dog-friendly breweries around the state.
