Dynamic Dog Assessments
functional assessments for your dog clients
when you need a second set of eyes on your behavior cases
What is a Dynamic Dog Assessment?
A Dynamic Dog Assessment is a hands-free functional analysis of a dog’s conformation, posture, gait, ambulation, and activities of daily living.
Our Licensed Dynamic Dog Practitioner, Casey Hallenbeck analyzes all aspects of a dog’s life, including their comfort levels, which could be a major contributing factor in their behavior. This process is 100% virtual but we also offer Data Gathering Assistance for clients who are within Casey’s service range (Northern RI).
Because the Dynamic Dog process is so unique, dog trainers, dog behavior consultants, and even veterinarians, can easily work along side Dynamic Dog Practitioners to achieve well-rounded results. Casey will extract the details you need to get unstuck on a behavior case, while doing the legwork for you.
Dog Trainers & Dog Behavior Consultants
Questioning whether pain might be behind your client’s behaviors? Sent them to get a vet check but was told they’re all clear? Not convinced? Let Casey see what she can find during this comprehensive assessment.
Veterinarians & Clinics
Have patients that present challenging or dangerous behaviors during exams, making thorough exams difficult or a safety risk? A Dynamic Dog Assessment is done with the dog comfortably at home and completely hands-off. Let us gather the evidence and data for you to review safely.
Dog Groomers & Salons
Have clients that struggle to complete grooms, show aggressive behavior, and are concerned there could be something more going on? A Dynamic Dog Assessment is a great first step to rule out one of the most common reasons behind the struggles of a groom, pain.

Because Dynamic Dog Assessments are 100% hands-free and can be conducted virtually, Casey can provide information for the vet, which might be difficult to see in a clinic setting because of the dog’s behavior or stress level.
-
Does your client’s dog struggle with behavior problems including but not limited to:
Aggression - reactivity, barking, lunging, snapping, growling, showing teeth, etc.
Handling Issues - unable to be groomed at home or in a salon, vet visits are stressful, can’t be checked over safely, etc.
Fear - avoidance of people and dogs, noise sensitivity, etc.
Stubborn Behaviors - stopping on walks, avoiding cues/commands, picky with food, etc.
Over Excitement - mouthing, jumping, difficulty settling, pulling on leash, etc.
Separation Anxiety & Distress
& many more!

A Dynamic Dog Assessment does not provide a medical diagnosis and does not replace veterinary care. Instead, it helps identify patterns and possibilities that may warrant further investigation.
We highly encourage every client to bring the report to their vet so that they can properly assess, diagnose, and offer their suggested treatment plans accordingly.
